Liam Rosenior said Chelsea have identified the source of team news leaks before their Champions League last 16 meetings with PSG, and that the issue has been resolved.

PSG beat Chelsea 5-2 in the first leg and 3-0 in the return, results that are not explained by the leaks. Daily Mail reports that an internal inquiry found the information did not come from a player but from an external source.

Seeking to calm the situation at his press conference, Rosenior said the club know who is responsible, where it came from, and that it has been dealt with. He added there was no malicious intent towards him or the team.

Several French outlets had carried details in advance, including Malo Gusto’s absence for the second leg and Jorrel Hato starting ahead of Wesley Fofana at Stamford Bridge.

Those early disclosures irritated staff at the London club during an already bruising week.
