Paris FC have appointed Liam Rosenior as head coach on a deal until 2028, replacing Antoine Kombouaré. The club said in a statement that he will take charge on Thursday when training resumes.
The 41-year-old has been out of work since the end of April after a difficult stint at Chelsea, only four months after arriving in the Premier League.
He previously impressed at Strasbourg in 2024-2025, guiding the Alsace club to seventh in Ligue 1 and qualification for the Europa Conference League.
The appointment was praised for his management qualities, clear vision and capacity to unite the squad. Club ownership were also won over by his playing philosophy, and many players expressed enthusiasm.
Kombouaré had arrived in February to replace Stéphane Gilli on an 18-month contract, with Paris FC struggling in the table. He lifted the promoted side to 11th in the league.
