Chelsea will place their six-match unbeaten Premier League record on the line on Sunday evening as they take on Arsenal in a blockbuster London derby at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are the only side to have beaten Chelsea in the Liam Rosenior era.
The Blues were eliminated from the EFL Cup semi-final 4-2 on aggregate by their London rivals and will be keen to set the record straight at the fourth time of asking.
Chelsea arrive in this fixture in better form than their capital rivals. They have picked up 14 points from their last six league matches, compared to Arsenal’s 11.
However, a couple of cracks have started to appear in the Rosenior project.
After bouncing back from a frustrating 2-2 draw with Leeds United by sweeping aside Hull City in the FA Cup, Chelsea stumbled again at home.
For the second week in a row, they dropped points against newly-promoted opposition.
A dramatic late equaliser from Zian Flemming rescued a 1-1 draw for Championship-bound Burnley at Stamford Bridge, leaving Chelsea fifth and three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
That match was also marred by disgraceful racist abuse aimed at Wesley Fofana and Hannibal Mejbri.
Despite the setback, Chelsea are still unbeaten in the league since Rosenior’s arrival.
The former RC Strasbourg boss could even become the first English manager since 2013/14 to win his first three away league games.
But that’s easier said than done, considering he has been outsmarted by Mikel Arteta twice while the Blues have failed to win any of their last 10 meetings with Arsenal.
Rosenior could make two changes from the side that drew with Burnley last time out.
Roberto Sanchez is poised to reprise his role between the sticks while Jorrel Hato and Mamadou Sarr come in for Malo Gusto and the suspended Fofana.
Sarr would be keen to impress on his full Premier League debut, while Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah are also likely to keep their place in the XI.
Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos should continue their partnership in midfield while Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez, and Pedro Neto line up behind striker Joao Pedro.
