Libertadores 2026 groups confirmed after Luque draw

According to Globo.com, Conmebol held Thursday night’s draw in Luque, Paraguay, confirming the 2026 Libertadores groups. Brazil are represented by Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Mirassol and Palmeiras. The final will be played in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Group A: Flamengo, Estudiantes, Cusco and Independiente Medellín. Group B: Nacional, Universitario, Coquimbo Unido and Deportes Tolima.
Group C: Fluminense, Bolívar, Deportivo La Guaira and Independiente Rivadavia. Group D: Boca Juniors, Cruzeiro, Universidad Católica and Barcelona.
Group E: Peñarol, Corinthians, Santa Fé and Platense. Group F: Palmeiras, Cerro Porteño, Junior Barranquilla and Sporting Cristal.
Group G: LDU, Lanús, Always Ready and Mirassol. Group H: Independiente del Valle, Libertad, Rosario Central and Universidad Central.
Group stage rounds are set for 7-9, 14-16 and 28-30 April, then 5-7, 19-21 and 26-28 May. The last 16 are scheduled for 11-13 and 18-20 August, the quarter-finals for 8-10 and 15-17 September, the semi-finals for 13-14 and 20-21 October, with the final on 28 November.
