Lienou, Cresswell & Mills all start for U21s | OneFootball

Leeds United Under-21s will be searching for a first victory in the National League Cup group stage this evening as they face Solihull Moors at the ARMCO Arena.

Ahead of kick off in the West Midlands, boss Scott Gardner has named a strong side to take on the fifth-tier opposition, beginning with Rory Mahady in goal.

A fluid back five consists of Harvey Vincent, Jacob Howard, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, Jayden Lienou and Freddie Lane.

In the midfield, skipper Ollie Pickles is partnered by Alfie Cresswell with Josh McDonald, Callum Mills and Carrick Njinko leading the line.

On the bench, keeper George Kenyon is joined by veteran mentor Jonny Howson, Luke Matykiewicz, Louie Philpott, as well as the more attack-minded Jacob Render and Sam Alker.
