Voting is open for the Ligue 1 team of the year 2025, with coaches and goalkeepers on today’s slate. According to L'Équipe, readers are choosing position by position until Friday.
Coaches shortlisted: Roberto De Zerbi (Marseille), Didier Digard (Le Havre), Alexandre Dujeux (Angers), Bruno Genesio (Lille), Paulo Fonseca (Lyon), Stéphane Gilli (Paris FC), Franck Haise (Nice), Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain), Liam Rosenior (Strasbourg) and Pierre Sage (Lyon then Lens).
Goalkeepers in contention: Lucas Chevalier (Lille then Paris Saint-Germain), Yehvann Diouf (Reims then Nice), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain then Manchester City), Hervé Koffi (Lens then Angers), Donovan Léon (Auxerre), Berke Özer (Eyüpspor then Lille), Djordje Petrovic (Strasbourg then Bournemouth), Robin Risser (Red Star, L2, then Lens), Geronimo Rulli (Marseille) and Brice Samba (Rennes).
De Zerbi took Marseille to second last season and they sit third after a 1-0 Classique win on 22 September. Luis Enrique retained Ligue 1 and delivered a first Champions League for Paris Saint-Germain, while Lens, under Sage, lead the division with the stingiest defence.
Donnarumma’s European heroics brought the Yashin Trophy and ninth in the Ballon d’Or. Özer saved six penalties for Lille, including three in a 1-0 win at Roma on 2 October, while Koffi leads Ligue 1 for save percentage at 79.5. Chevalier earned a first France cap in November and now competes with Matvei Safonov in Paris.
