Ligue 1+, the league's broadcaster, confirmed on Tuesday that the Ligue 1-Ligue 2 play-off will be played on Thursday 21 May and Sunday 24 May, with both matches kicking off at 20h45.
The opening leg precedes the return by three days. The Ligue 2 play-off winner hosts the opener, then travels to the 16th-placed Ligue 1 side for the second leg. These matches will also be shown on beIN Sports.
The Ligue 2 play-offs determine the challenger, with third facing the winner of fourth against fifth. That winner advances to meet the 16th in Ligue 1 over two legs.
As it stands, AJ Auxerre sit 16th on 25 points, five behind Nice in 15th with three rounds remaining. They could meet Saint-Étienne, currently third in Ligue 2, in a repeat of 2021-2022, which Auxerre won 1-1, 5-4 on penalties.
The Ligue 2-National play-off will be played on 19 May at 20h30 and on 24 May at 17h, with the Ligue 2 club at home in the return. Those matches will be broadcast on beIN Sports.
