Lamine Camara is calm after his move to Chelsea failed – but there are questions over whether the Blues will be back in for him.

Chelsea’s deadline day was dominated by one story – the collapse of the deal to sign Lamine Camara.
With Enzo Fernandez on his way to Man City, Chelsea had pushed hard for the Monaco midfielder. They thought they had a deal wrapped up, but at the last minute the Monegasques decided they didn’t want to go through with it.
Chelsea were left in a sticky situation, and ultimately didn’t sign anyone. Camara saw a potential dream move fall through, but was in back the team by that same weekend. Now, finally, we’ve heard from him about the situation and his feelings.

“There was the possibility [of a Chelsea move],” the midfielder admitted.
“At the last minute, it didn’t happen… football moves quickly and maybe other chances with come. I’m focused.”
He’s right to be calm – there will be plenty more chances for a Premier League move, either in January or in the summer. Teams like Liverpool are already being linked. The question is whether Chelsea will be among the teams engaging, given they are apparently furious with Monaco’s late shenanigans.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Kendry Paez is going to stay at Chelsea and not go on loan – but he’s also not going to be involved with the first team.
