About 900 Lyon fans are set to travel to La Meinau on Sunday, but a Bas-Rhin prefectural order bars them from Strasbourg city centre. According to Le Progres, the measure will govern their movements around the match.

The sizeable away following continues recent four-figure turnouts at Metz and Nantes. They will back Tolisso, Endrick and others for Strasbourg v OL on matchweek 23.

The decree restricts parking and movement around Stade de la Meinau, the central station and the city centre on Sunday 22 February, from 8am to midnight, for anyone identifying as an Olympique Lyonnais supporter, including those wearing club colours or symbols.

Visiting fans will be escorted directly into Racing’s ground, where another capacity crowd is expected. Strolling through Petite France in red and blue will not be permitted.

The surge in support reflects the mood around Paulo Fonseca’s side, who could make club history with a 14th successive victory.
