Ligue 2 returns on Saturday 8 August for the 2026/27 campaign. According to Le Progres, the division features 18 clubs across 34 matchdays.
The opening round begins at 20:45 in a multiplex broadcast.

Fixtures will be shown on BeIN Sport.
Weekly kick-off slots include six matches on Friday at 20:00, two on Saturday at 14:00 and one on Monday at 20:45.
The weekend’s headline fixture takes the Saturday 20:00 slot.
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the most represented region with four teams, ASSE, Clermont Foot 63, Grenoble foot 38 and FC Annecy, for the second consecutive season.
