FC Copenhagen and Lille OSC are in talks over the transfer of attacking midfielder Hákon Haraldsson (20). The Superliga side have released a press statement that indicated that they had received an offer, from an unnamed side, for the signing of Haraldsson and that concrete negotiations have begun with the club in question regarding a possible sale. FC Copenhagen add that there is no guarantee that a final agreement will be reached. According to L’Équipe, the club involved is Lille OSC.
FC Copenhagen revealed last month that a bid was rejected for their Icelandic international. According to Danish media, the offer was evaluated at €10m, but the Superliga side are holding out for €15m. The French outlet mentions that RB Salzburg were already keeping tabs on Haraldsson last January.
Lille OSC are keeping their business activity quiet this summer. Les Dogues, who have qualified for the Conference League playoffs courtesy of their fifth-place finish this past Ligue 1 season, have only announced the signing of promising Portuguese full-back Tiago Santos (20) from Estoril.
