Lille returned to the Ligue 1 podium with a 4-0 win at Toulouse, as Antoine Kombouaré’s Paris FC dismantled Monaco 4-1.
According to Le Progres, PFC surged three up inside 21 minutes at Stade Jean-Bouin on Friday, their first first-half treble in the top flight since 1973, also against Monaco.
Marseille’s 3-1 win over Metz at the Vélodrome had briefly knocked Lille off the podium. The northerners responded on Sunday, making it four straight league victories and stretching an unbeaten run since one February to six wins and three draws. They stay one point ahead of Marseille.
Elsewhere, Rennes beat Angers 2-1, Lyon saw off Lorient 2-0, Nice drew 1-1 with Le Havre, and Auxerre and Nantes ended 0-0.
Lens against Paris SG and Brest against Strasbourg are set for 13/05.
