According to L’Équipe, Lille are considering Marseille’s Samuel Gigot (30) and West Ham United’s Nayef Ageurd (28) as they seek to replace Leny Yoro (18) after his move to Manchester United.
Les Dogues managed to recoup €70m for the defender who had just one year left on his contract at the Stade Pierre Mauroy. With new manager Bruno Genesio keen to recruit a replacement for Yoro, the Ligue 1 outfit are considering different options at the back to replace the 18-year-old.
Ageurd is one of the names under consideration for a potential move to Northern France. The West Ham United defender is a target for Lille on a potential loan move, L’Équipe understands. However, Les Dogues are not the only club interested in the wantaway Hammers defender. Atlético Madrid are also showing an interest. Marseille are also willing to sell Samuel Gigot this summer which makes a potential move possible.
