Lille enquire about Jhon Duran as Fenerbahçe loan nears termination | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Lille have asked Al-Nassr about Colombia striker Jhon Duran, who is currently on loan at Fenerbahçe. The club are seeking at least one attacking reinforcement.

Lille have been working at speed after long absences for Hamza Igamane, knee, and Osame Sahraoui, pubalgia. Bruno Genesio said this week that finding a ready, high-impact forward who can contribute immediately is not simple, though he remains hopeful.

Duran, 22, left Aston Villa a year ago to join Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané at Al-Nassr for €77m in the final hours of the January 2025 window. He struggled to settle despite returning 12 goals in 18 appearances.

Loaned to Fenerbahçe last summer, he has scored 5 in 21 and has not found his stride in Türkiye, with the loan close to being cancelled.

Lille have sounded out Al-Nassr but have not yet spoken to the player, whose salary is significant. A loan could be explored, yet the deal remains far from agreed.
