Lille OSC are interested in Norwegian forward Sindre Walle Egeli (18), according to a report from L’Équipe. Les Dogues are in a position where they are having to reconstruct their attack this summer. As already confirmed, Jonathan David will leave the club, Chuba Akpom is expected to leave upon the expiry of his loan move, and Edon Zhegrova, who is yet to feature at all in 2025 due to injury, will be allowed to leave, too.
Recruitment in this sector will therefore be essential for LOSC, who next season will compete in the UEFA Europa League. Egeli, who has scored nine goals and registered eight assists in 32 games for Nordsjælland in his debut campaign, is a player being considered.
Lille have already made contact with the player’s entourage, however, a deal could prove difficult with Nordsjælland demanding a €15m fee. Egeli is a versatile forward, able to play across the attack, although he has a preference for playing off the right.
