Lille predicted XI v Angers: Berke Özer returns to lineup, Tiago Santos returns to squad | OneFootball

Lille OSC will hope to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat away to OGC Nice on Wednesday when they host Angers SCO later this afternoon. 

The good news for Lille will be that Berke Özer will be back in the starting lineup after he was forced to miss the midweek round of fixtures. His backup, Arnaud Bodart, struggled under the spotlight and was at fault for both of Nice’s goals. 

Bruno Génésio will once again be able to rely on Tiago Santos, who has been included in the matchday squad for the first time since the 4-3 defeat to PAOK FC in the UEFA Europa League. Santos had a hand in three of PAOK’s goals and was replaced at halftime, where he then left the stadium early.

 L’Équipe reports that Génésio did not appreciate this gesture and removed him from the squad for the victory over FC Metz, and also for the defeat to Nice.
