Lille OSC face table-topping UEFA Champions League side Liverpool FC at Anfield in Matchday 7 this Tuesday night. The eighth-placed Dogues will look to be the first team in the competition to make Arne Slot’s Reds drop points.

Kosovo international Edon Zhegrova (25) has not made the trip to Merseyside as the Lille winger has been contending with an adductor injury. Zhegrova’s absence is set to benefit Mitchel Bakker. The Dutch wing-back will be tasked to bring some muscle and defend his right flank in front of Aïssa Mandi.

Lille head coach Bruno Genesio can, fortunately, rely on his trusted centre-backs: Bafodé Diakité and Alexsandro. France international goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier will start between the sticks and, at the other side of the Anfield pitch, Canadian centre-forward Jonathan David will look to prove his worth under the Champions League floodlights.

17-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who impressed with a mature display against Real Madrid earlier in the Champions League, will be one to watch for Liverpool tonight.
