Lille predicted XI v Monaco: Nabil Bentaleb returns, Edon Zhegrova to start | OneFootball

The postponement of Wednesday’s match against AS Monaco has worked to Lille OSC’s advantage. Had it taken place a fortnight ago, as planned Paulo Fonseca would not have been able to rely on Edon Zhegrova, however, the Kosovan international is expected to make a return to the starting XI against Les Monégasques.

Zhegrova missed the second leg of Lille’s UEFA Europa Conference League tie against Aston Villa after suffering an ankle injury in the first leg. He made a substitute appearance against RC Strasbourg Alsace at the weekend but he is now reportedly fit enough to retake his place in the starting XI.

Nabil Bentaleb will also return. The holding midfielder was absent at the weekend through suspension; but for the postponement, he too would have been unable to play against Monaco.
