Israeli attacking midfielder Lior Refaelov contract with Anderlecht in the summer. HLN is reporting that the midfielder is looking for clarity on his future with the club. The report also indicates that other Pro League clubs are interested in Refaelov, as well as teams from abroad.
Refaelov joined the Mauves for free after Antwerp did not renew his contract. The midfielder has played 14 Pro League games this season, scoring 4 and providing 5 assists. In the Conference League, Refaelov has played in 3 group games, scoring once and providing 2 assists.
The former Maccabi Haifa midfielder has spent the last decade playing in Belgium, having joined Club Brugge in 2011. He has won 2 player of the season awards, 2 league titles and 2 cups, with the majority of these coming during his time with Club Brugge. Fans of the Brugge side were upset when their former player chose to join Anderlecht, a side they have a fierce rivalry with.
