PSG are keeping a close eye on Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki as the summer transfer window approaches. The 21-year-old has been in standout form this season, racking up 12 goals and 19 assists across 43 appearances. His impressive performances have made him one of the most sought-after young talents in Europe.
According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Manchester United are among several Premier League clubs tracking Cherki. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are reportedly monitoring his situation.
Nonetheless, the interest goes beyond England. Bayern Munich and PSG have both re-entered the picture. The report claims that they have been drawn by Cherki’s strong run of form, considering potential moves in the near future.
Asked recently about the prospect of joining PSG, Cherki didn’t hold back. He suggested that a move to the capital would be something he’s very open to.
“Would I feel good in a locker room with these boys from PSG? Oh yes absolutely, I know them all,” Cherki said. “Ousmane & Bradley are good friends of mine. When you have good chemistry on the pitch, it shows off off the pitch too.”

Foot Mercato reported on Monday that Cherki won’t be joining PSG, as the club has no plans to target the Lyon midfielder. There’s no contact between the parties at the moment, and none is expected in the near future.
On Monday, RMC Sport’s Florent Gautreau advised the Frenchman to make the move to the French capital for one key reason.
“Cherki to PSG, I’m ready to believe it,” Gautreau said. “He needs to be guided, and with Luis Enrique, he could fit into a team game where he has to defend and do more than just shine for a few minutes per match.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be in the lead for Rayan Cherki, according to a recent report from The Mirror. Cherki could be available for around £20 million, with United seeing the French midfielder as a promising addition to bolster their attack.
