In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Liverpool are locked in a three-way battle for Red Bull Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. It has been mentioned that the Reds would have to rival Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the Ivory Coast wide player.
Diomande has put in a series of impressive displays on the left side of Leipzig’s attack in this campaign. The 19-year-old has found the back of the net 13 times and earned ten assists in 36 matches for the German outfit this season in various competitions.
The Ivory Coast talent is currently one of the best young wingers in the Bundesliga. Thus, it is no surprise that the Reds are eyeing a move to bring him to Anfield this summer.
His current deal at the Red Bull Arena will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for Liverpool to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Diomande is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can use his pace well to get in behind the oppponent’s backline at every chance he can get. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes on the offensive end of the field and can strike the ball with power from long range. Diomande can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas.
The Ivory Coast whizkid mainly operates as a left-winger but can also function as a right-sided wide player if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Reds manage to win the race for him this summer.
Diomande would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liverpool boss Arne Slot’s attack in the long run. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming seasons.
At 19, Diomande has the potential to be a future star in the Premier League. Hence, he would be a decent option for the Reds to consider in this summer transfer period.
