Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté is heading into the final year of his contract without an extension in place, creating uncertainty about his long-term future at Anfield.
According to reports, PSG and Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the situation and could step in if no deal is reached before the January transfer window.
Foot Mercato adds that Konaté has already been offered to several top European clubs—including PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona—indicating that a transfer could become a real possibility as his contract winds down.

Liverpool are open to offers for Konaté in the January transfer window if a new contract cannot be agreed. Former Manchester United and Blackburn scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Arne Slot still believes the club can upgrade on the 26-year-old.
“Liverpool will be making efforts to keep Konaté,” Brown said. “They haven’t got great cover at centre-back, there’s Joe Gomez who can do a job and they’ve brought in the young lad Giovanni Leoni from Italy. The issue they have with Konate is that he always seems to have a mistake in him.
“That’s why they wanted Marc Guehi, he’s a very good option and he brings stability. It takes the concern away from the back line they’ve got at the moment, and that’s why they’ve been looking to improve at centre-back. Having missed out on Guehi, they don’t have the depth to get rid of Konate now.
“So they’ll be making efforts for him to sign a new contract. If he doesn’t, then they’ll have a decision to make and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him leave in January rather than on a free at the end of the year. Especially if they go back in for Guehi, because he’d be an immediate replacement. So it all depends on how these talks go over his new contract.”

Konaté currently earns £70,000 a week but has told Liverpool he wants £200,000 per week to sign a new contract, according to DaveOCKOP.com.
The Premier League champions are pushing for a deal focused mostly on performance-related bonuses, while Konaté is holding out for a higher guaranteed base salary.
Last month, journalist Abdellah Boulma reported that Liverpool are still negotiating a contract extension with Konaté. Although no deal is in place yet, the French defender is happy at the club and wants to stay.
