Liverpool's bid to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi has fallen through.
Both clubs struck a £35m agreement ahead of Monday's transfer deadline with the England international with a deal sheet submitted as part of the deal's process.
But as per multiple reports, Guéhi will remain at Selhurst Park despite having less than 12 months on his current contract and showing no previous signs of renewing.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Eagles in 2021, had undergone a medical in London ahead of his anticipated deadline day switch to the Premier League champions.
Oliver Glasner's side were reluctant to allow Guéhi to make the move to Anfield after failing to source a senior centre-back as hie direct replacement before the deadline.
He led Palace to their first major trophy with the FA Cup final win over Manchester City as well as a Community Shield victory over his prospective new employers just three weeks ago.
