Clark has cemented her place at the heart of the Liverpool defence ever since arriving at the club. She is a hugely important member of the team and she will now remain with The Reds for an extended period after signing a contract extension with the club.

After opting to sign on again with Liverpool, Clark said “It feels amazing. Obviously, it feels like home here, so I’m delighted.

“Liverpool to me feels like home, in the club, in the city and I’ve enjoyed a good year-and-a-half here already. I’m looking forward to the future.”

Clark will be hoping to put in another strong performance when Liverpool take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
