Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly among several clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, interested in Joao Pedro as the summer transfer window nears.

Transfer expert Graeme Bailey reported last December that Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and PSG all have their eyes on Pedro. Brighton is demanding nearly £100 million to sell the forward but has no plans to part ways with him anytime soon.

With Pedro under contract until 2028, Brighton holds a strong negotiating position. The Brazilian has made 24 appearances this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.

What’s the latest on Joao Pedro leaving Brighton this summer?

Empire of the Kop has reported that Liverpool are preparing an opening bid of £42 million for Pedro. The report also states that Liverpool view the Brazil international striker as “a potential alternative” to Darwin Nunez.

In positive news for the Premier League leaders, Pedro is reportedly open to joining the Reds. According to a previous report from Football Insider, Liverpool are interested in signing Pedro and have been monitoring his progress.

Likely facing a high transfer fee, the Reds may need to pay a hefty amount. The report also noted that Brighton could demand at least double the £30 million they paid Watford in 2023 if they decide to sell him soon.
