According to an update shared by Mundo Deportivo, it has come to light that Barcelona’s main summer target, Luis Diaz, is now back in England and ready to start pre-season training with Liverpool this Tuesday.

His return has put many clubs on alert, especially Barça, who have been working hard behind the scenes to bring the Colombian winger to Camp Nou.

Liverpool, for their part, are waiting to hear what Diaz wants to do. They know he dreams of playing for Barça and are prepared to negotiate a sale if he formally asks for it.

However, the tragic loss of Diogo Jota has changed the atmosphere at Liverpool, and Diaz is taking his time to decide the best moment to make his move.

He wants to make sure he chooses the right time to ask Liverpool to let him go. While he does not want to rush and risk making a mistake, he also knows he cannot wait too long.

For Barça, Diaz has always been Deco’s top choice to strengthen the left wing. Their interest grew even stronger after Nico Williams decided to stay at Athletic Club.

Barça have been talking with Diaz’s agent, who has not demanded any guarantees like a registration promise or a free release clause if the club cannot register Diaz right away.

They are confident they can register him before the end of the transfer window, which has helped keep talks positive and moving forward.

Despite this, there is a twist. Recent reports claim Diaz has agreed on personal terms with Bayern Munich. The German champions want him at the Allianz Arena, and Diaz is open to joining them.

Still, nothing has been finalised yet. Until an agreement is signed and sealed, both Barça and Bayern have a chance to land the talented winger, and a transfer saga could be on the cards this summer.
