According to Lewis Steele at the Daily Mail, it's likely that a central midfielder will be on Liverpool's shopping list in the summer, which is as sure a sign as any that Endo is going to leave the club.
This season in particular, the Japanese midfielder has managed to get just 271 minutes on the pitch.
Last season wasn't much better either following the introduction of Ryan Gravenberch as Slot's primary defensive midfielder, with Endo getting 904 minutes across 32 appearances - 28 per game.
He's been steadily edged out after playing major role in Klopp's farewell season, and we're not even getting the mini end-of-game cameos that Slot afforded him throughout the title win earlier this year.
