Liverpool may have only just signed Victor Munoz but, they could still do with adding another four or five players to their ranks.
Andoni Iraola has a huge mountain to climb at Anfield and, if he isn't given the new players he needs to make the Reds successful again, they could actually end up in an even worse position than they found themselves during the 2025-26 campaign.
The Anfield outfit were expected to be one of the toughest teams to beat last term but, they were actually an awful lot worse than most of their title rivals.
This has led to fans demanding that new players are brought in and, since Liverpool's attack has been severely weakened already, this should be one of the first areas that they try and improve.
And, luckily for Iraola and Richard Hughes, it seems like the club have been given a green light to do just that.
Mohamed Salah is the main player that Liverpool need to replace in their squad before their 2026-27 season kicks off.
The Egyptian King may not have been at his best during his last season at Anfield but, he still managed to contribute to 22 goals across all competitions which is no easy feat.
Salah's exit has led to many wingers being linked with a move to L4 but, the vast majority of them seem to be left-wingers rather than right-wingers.
This is a bit of a problem as Liverpool already have three left-wingers to choose from among their ranks while they only have one right-winger in Federico Chiesa.
This has led to all sorts of theories being thrown around and now, it feels like Iraola may have just been handed a green light to sign Brentford's Kevin Schade.
Last term, the German played 39 times across all competitions for the Bees and contributed to 12 goals.
His versatility is also second-to-none as he can play anywhere across the front three if he's needed to.
Until recently, Schade was seen as unsellable by Keith Andrews but, now that he's brought Calum Wilson and Jaidon Anthony in, his stance could have easily changed, giving Liverpool the green light to reignite their move for the 24-year-old.

Before the summer transfer window even opened, Liverpool's interest in Schade was rife.
In fact, there were even rumours about Schade's future emerging back in February, just after the January transfer window slammed shut.
However, a move for the 24-year-old never came to fruition and the talks died down.
But, now that Brentford are adding even more firepower to their ranks, there might be less room for Schade, especially since he spent eight games playing as a striker this term.
The German may not have played on the right this term but, the fact that he has two and a half seasons worth of Premier League experience and has been described as an "excellent" player by his current manager proves how good he actually is.
A fee worth between €50 million and €60 million would be required to prise the German away from Brentford this summer but, considering his age and his experience and the way that the market is at the moment, it seems like a fair deal and one that Liverpool should certainly explore.
