The Reds announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
In previous seasons, Liverpool have staged their home Merseyside derby fixture against Everton in L4. This season saw The Reds receive further backing from the club with the fixtures against Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton all being staged at Anfield. There will be continual support for the team again next term with another three games set to be hosted at the club’s traditional home.
The next three Anfield games will be determined once Liverpool’s 2025/2026 Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures have been published over the summer. The club will be hoping for more bumper crowds off the back of three successful events this season.
Despite facing some challenges in 2024/2025, Liverpool were still able to end the season in seventh position in the Barclays Women’s Super League table. The Reds will be keen to kick on next term with a new permanent head coach in place, combined with some good recruitment in the close season. The club have put down some solid foundations in recent seasons and there is no reason why Liverpool cannot close the gap between themselves and the Barclays Women’s Super League’s elite.
