Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was involved in training ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League game against Galatasaray, after being taken off with a knock against Wolves.

Mac Allister has been a vital player for Arne Slot this season and has started 24 league games this season.

He limped off against Wolves on Friday, but looks set to be available for the Reds’ trip to Turkey this week.

Florian Wirtz was also in training, as he continues to build up his fitness. The German midfielder made his first appearance since February 14 when he came on against Wolves in a 3-1 win on Friday.

Federico Chiesa was not in the training session, and also did not come off the bench in the FA Cup game against Wolves.

Slot should give an update on the Italian in his press conference before the Champions League match against Galatasaray.
