In a recent report, The Sun stated that Liverpool have identified Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as a target for this summer transfer window. It has been claimed that the Reds are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the French wide player this off-season.
Barcola enjoyed a brilliant season at the French club after he put in a string of impressive displays on the left side of their attack. He ended up helping his team win the treble. The 22-year-old scored 21 times and secured 19 assists in 58 appearances for PSG in the previous campaign across all fronts.
The Lyon-born talent did well to average 3.05 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 and kept 51.4% of his attempts on target. He was also tidy with his ball distribution after completing 81.7% of his attempted passes in the top tier of French football (stats via fbref.com).
Barcola is under contract at PSG until the summer of 2028. Therefore, the Reds would have to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting the French wing wizard in this transfer window.

Barcola can use his quickness to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can create some promising chances for others around him in the final third.
The French winger can strike the ball with venom from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals. He mainly operates as a left-winger but can also play as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if asked to do so.
Barcola would add more goals to Liverpool boss Arne Slot’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for regular first-team football at Anfield next season.
At 22, Barcola has got a bright future ahead of him which makes him an excellent choice for the Reds to pursue in this summer transfer period. However, he might need some time to adjust to the physical side and high intensity of Premier League football. Still, the pros outweigh the cons of signing a player of his skill set. All in all, Slot should focus on bringing him on board this summer.
