Lucca Brughmans ( GK – Genk)

Liverpool have high hopes for the teenager, who is viewed as Alisson Becker’s long-term successor.

Ifeanyi Ndukwe ( CB – Levante)

Finally made his debut for the La Liga outfit, replacing Adrian De La Fuente late in their 4-2 defeat to Barcelona. Levante scored two goals after his introduction, before Karim Adeyemi cut inside Ndukwe and slotted it into the bottom corner, netting an injury-time winner.

Djylian N’Guessan ( ST – Brest)

The teenage attacker, who is expected to join the Reds next year, made his debut for Brest against PSG as a late substitute for Kamory Doumbia. Could not make much of a difference high up the pitch, as the champions of Europe defended their early lead and secured all three points on Sunday evening.

Ármin Pécsi (GK – TSV Hartberg)

Two late goals from WSG Tirol denied them a victory in the Austrian Bundesliga. But the young Hungarian was composed between the sticks, making four diving saves in their 2-2 draw on the road.

Started as the first choice, but the left-back seems to have lost his spot, as he remained an unused substitute in their midweek draw with Stoke City. Was only involved as an injury-time replacement for Joel Bagan in their 1-0 defeat against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Kieran Morrison (LM – Sheffield Wednesday)

The in-form winger started from the right-hand flank in their stalemate with Wigan. Tried to make a difference with his flair and footwork. Forced Joe Whitworth to make a couple of routine stops, but his crosses and dribbling attempts lacked end product.

Kyle Kelly (DM – Forest Green Rovers)

The 20-year-old Saint Kitts and Nevis international retained his starting spot in the centre of the pitch. Forest Green secured a commanding 4-0 win over Gateshead FC, and the youngster had two early scoring attempts saved by Pete Jameson before being substituted off around the hour mark.

Kornel Miściur ( GK – Leek Town)

A tough outing for the custodian, even though he made some key saves. But their frailty at the back led to a comeback from Redcar Athletic, who secured a 3-2 win at Green Lane.

Calvin Ramsay ( RB – St Mirren)

A tough night for the right fullback, as he lost the duels and committed frequent fouls last midweek against Rangers. Failed to test Ivor Pandur with his off-target shots and was eventually taken off for Jayden Richardson around the hour mark. The Buddies suffered an injury-time setback when substitute Bojan Miovski broke the deadlock.

Harvey Elliott ( AM – Valencia)

Hardly had an impact since replacing Ryunosuke Sato in the second half. Juan Iglesias’s late winner secured all three points for Sevilla.

Centre-half Amara Nallo and the Polish custodian Fabian Mrozek were not involved for HJK and FC Cincinnati, respectively.
