In Keyrol Figueroa, he now might have though. The 19-year-old forward is in great form this season averaging a goal every 74 minutes in the Premier League 2 for the club's U21 side.

Figueroa hit a hat-trick in the mini-derby against Everton and he's finally fulfilling his exciting potential, which saw him debut for the club's U18 side when he was just 15-years-old.

In the years since, Figueroa has had to adjust his game and has suffered injuries as well. However, he's now bouncing back on the radar and taking advantage of the fact that both Jayden Danns and Will Wright are injured.

Recently he spoke about his desire to follow in the footsteps of Kane and working with Inglethorpe to develop his game as per Liverpool.com:

"I like being myself," he said. "But I go back to Liverpool back in the day when Daniel Sturridge was around. I watched him and Luis Suarez.

"Besides Liverpool, one of my favourite strikers is Karim Benzema or Didier Drogba. Harry Kane as well.

"I know Alex [Inglethorpe, the Liverpool academy director who was formerly at Spurs] used to work with him and gives me tips about that. I just take on that information and those are my players."

With there now being a shortage of strikers at first-team level as Alexander Isak is injured at the moment, Figueroa has a huge opportunity to fight himself into Arne Slot's reckoning too.

The League Cup game against Crystal Palace could be his moment to shine. There's a genuine possibility that Figueroa is going to be involved in that game.

And if he makes his moment count, Liverpool might have just unleashed their very own Kane in the process.
