Liverpool's hunt for a new striker has led to all-manner of transfer links being produced.
Most of them have been for fees of around £100m, with a lot of risk being involved in any potential deal given the lack of a guarantee of goals because the player is simply too young for a track record.
Targets such as Alexander Isak eliminate that risk because they are far more mature players. The 25 year old Swede is yet to reach the prime of his career, but he is already proving to be a reliable asset.
One slight problem with him, however, is that Newcastle value him just as much as his rival suitors and so persuading him to leave Tyneside is incredibly difficult. The Magpies are a club on the way up.
As such, securing a new No.9 this summer will require some outside the box thinking and in Harry Kane, a tantalising proposition might be on the cards if the Reds play their hand right.

Liverpool need a player with a killer instinct for putting the ball in the back of the net. This could be getting on the end of crosses, or shooting from outside the box. We don't need anything too flashy.
Over the years, Kane has become a master at goalscoring. He's the closest thing the Premier League has seen to Alan Shearer in terms of finishing prowess and he'll be hunting down the all-time record.
However, in order to satisfy his urge to win a piece of silverware in his career, he moved from Tottenham to Bayern Munich two years ago, and his dream came true a few weeks ago after the Bavarian's reclaimed the Bundesliga title, leading to some iconic trophy lift pictures.
Across the campaign, he scored 26 league goals, alongside 12 goals in other competitions, which all add up to a 49 goal contribution season once assists are accounted for.
Kane's prolific nature extends all the way back to the 2014/15 season. In each of the campaigns he has played in since then, he has delivered a minimum of 24 goals across all competitions.
Despite him nearing the end of his career at 31 years old, he has been able to adapt over the years and he is showing no signs of stopping quite yet. If he is to return to England, why not join Liverpool?
