Liverpool or Arsenal: Barcola already chose the team he wants to join

Arsenal and Liverpool are the two clubs interested in signing Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain during this transfer window, and the Ligue 1 side could allow him to leave.

Barcola has informed the club that he wants to change teams and will not sign a new contract, making it easier for Paris Saint-Germain to consider offers for his signature. Although he is not expected to leave for a modest fee, there is a strong possibility that the French champions will listen to suitable proposals during this window.

The Ligue 1 club are keen to retain only players who want to remain, and Arsenal continue to pursue a move for the forward.

Liverpool Said to Hold the Advantage

As reported by Ben Jacobs on the Born ‘N Red YouTube channel, the player already has a preferred destination if both clubs reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.

Jacobs said, “My understanding is that if Liverpool and Arsenal both agreed a deal for Barcola, Barcola is leaning towards Liverpool.”

His comments suggest that Liverpool currently have the advantage in the race, although the transfer remains unresolved at this stage.

Arsenal Still Have Hope

Despite Liverpool’s reported position, Arsenal may still have an opportunity to change the outcome if an agreement has not yet been finalised.

The Gunners remain interested in strengthening their attacking options and will continue to monitor developments surrounding the Frenchman’s future. With no contract signed, there is still time for circumstances to change before the transfer window closes.
