Liverpool powerbrokers actively discussing bid for PSG star Mbappe

Liverpool powerbrokers are actively discussing a sensational summer move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe is a favourite of Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, who is close to his father and in regular contact.

Canal+'s Geoffroy Garétier reports Klopp has Mbappe top of his summer shopping list, recognising his team needs rejuvenating - particularly the attack.

The German is now in talks with the club's owners, FSG, about financing a move for Mbappe, who is set to become available at the end of the season with his contract now inside it's final 18 months.

And Garétier insists in contrast to cash-strapped Real Madrid, Liverpool boast the spending power to bring Mbappe to England for next season.
