Liverpool travel to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Friday night with Champions League qualification in reach for both teams.
A win for either will seal their place in next season’s Champions League, with the sides currently locked together on 59 points.
Arne Slot is hopeful his team can bounce back from recent setbacks against Manchester United and Chelsea, with his team booed following last week’s draw with the latter.
Liverpool will need to improve on a poor record away from home that has seen the Reds beaten eight times on the road in the Premier League this season.
The visitors are boosted by the return of Mohamed Salah, who is fit and available for after a recent hamstring issue. Salah could return to the side alongside Alexander Isak, who featured only from the bench against Chelsea.
Ibrahima Konate, Alisson Becker and Florian Wirtz all have doubts around their involvement, with late calls to be made on the trio.
“Ibou is OK, trained with us,” Arne Slot said at his pre-match press conference.
“Mo will be available tomorrow for only a few minutes, but hopefully can come in. Alisson trains with us again, let’s see where he is tomorrow, if he is ready already or has to wait one more week.”
In terms of confirmed absentees, Conor Bradley, Hugo Ekitike, Giovanni Leoni, and Wataru Endo are all out.
Possible Liverpool XI: Mamardashvili; Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Frimpong, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Isak.
The Premier League fixture between Aston Villa and Liverpool will kick-off at 8pm BST at Villa Park.
Aston Villa host Liverpool on Friday Night Football, live on Sky Sports.
