PSG have spent recent transfer windows strengthening their French core, bringing in Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, and Lucas Chevalier.
Could another French talent be on the way? TBR Football recently reported that Bayern Munich want to secure Michael Olise on a new contract before the season ends, aiming to ward off interest from other clubs.
The Bundesliga club are reportedly impressed with the winger and ready to offer a “huge pay rise” to keep him. Liverpool have tracked Olise for some time, while Chelsea, PSG, and Barcelona are also said to admire him—though none are expected to make a move next summer.

In his latest column, Bayern insider Christian Falk reported the latest regarding Olise as the German club probably want to tie down the Frenchman to a long-term contract to sway any interest from other top European clubs.
“When Bayern Munich triggered his release clause at Crystal Palace, there was just Newcastle involved in the poker with Bayern Munich, so they could make it work,” Falk wrote. “I think if, at that point, Liverpool or City had also been at the table, it would have been really more complicated. But now they see what a player he could be.
“At Bayern Munich, he’s the player of the year, based on early performances. I talked with Thomas Müller about him, and he said he’s the new leader in the team. He’s not talking a lot, but he’s always showing, “Give me the ball and I will make something special”. And now, yes, teams like Liverpool, and I heard also Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are watching him very, very closely.
“And because Bayern bought the player for €60m [£52.3m] from Crystal Palace, if an interested party pays a price over the €100m [£87.2m] mark – Bayern Munich have to think about it. But they want to keep him, and now they’re trying to give him a new contract so that they don’t lose him.”
Football Insider previously reported that Bayern Munich have valued Michael Olise at £100 million, with Liverpool showing interest in the winger. Meanwhile, CaughtOffside also revealed that the Reds are monitoring Olise as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
The reports suggest Bayern could ask around £87 million for Olise, though some sources indicate there might be a clause—or at least a verbal understanding—allowing Premier League clubs to negotiate a slightly lower fee. Olise is reportedly open to returning to England, and such a move would likely draw significant attention.
