Liverpool ramp up pursuit of DYNAMITE Premier League star

Liverpool may have found themselves a new winger as they ramp up a pursuit of a Premier League star. This is one to watch.

Liverpool are in the market for a new winger or two. That's despite the massive £450m summer spend as they overhauled their first-team squad.

But the Reds aren't done. They didn't touch their midfield or the wings and, in fact, sold Luis Diaz without a replacement. There can be no question that they've got their eyes on the flanks in 2026.

Part of that is also because Mo Salah will not last forever. Liverpool must consider replacing their superstar as he will enter the final year of his contract once again next summer. He may even depart a year early.

The Reds will want some sort of addition on either side, then. It's even possible that they sign wingers on both flanks, depending on their faith in Rio Ngumoha as a first-team option and Cody Gakpo as a long-term one.

It appears, at the very least, that they're lining up a potential signing on that side. An incredibly interesting one, too.

Liverpool chase Brazilian flair

Football Insider claims that Liverpool have their eyes firmly fixed on Fulham's Kevin. So much so that chief scout Barry Hunter was watching the Brazilian this weekend in the 3-0 win over Wolves.

Kevin made his first start for Fulham in that one and Liverpool will like what they saw. The 22-year-old was electric on the ball, attempting nine take-ons, five of which were successful.

But it's how progressive Kevin was with his ball carrying that caught the eye. He ran with the ball 21 times, eight of which counted as 'progressive' for how much distance he made up.

And that's what Liverpool want in a winger. They want someone who's not afraid to run with the ball - someone who can move the team up the pitch on their own like that.

It's a role Diaz used to fill and that Liverpool haven't replaced. Kevin is showing a wonderful ability to do that. In fact, he made seven progressive carries in his last outing and that was for only 45 minutes.

Now, Kevin has only just joined Fulham and we don't expect Liverpool could sign him anytime soon. But they've ramped up their scouting on him to see what he can do in person.

It appears Liverpool view him as a major talent - one with the potential to be their next superstar winger.
