Liverpool are ready to agree on a buyback clause as they attempt to get their latest deal over the line. The Reds continue to be busy.
Liverpool have been one of the busiest clubs in Europe this summer - if not the busiest. The Reds have pushed an incredible number of deals over the line, both in and out.
Florian Wirtz is the headline act, of course. He arrived for a club-record fee and immediately transforms Liverpool's squad.

After all, Wirtz is one of the most talented players in world football. He's a title-winner, twice voted the best player in Germany at 22, and someone who could be the star of this Liverpool team post-Mo Salah.
But in signing Wirtz, Liverpool cast an awful lot of doubt over Harvey Elliott. The playmaker already had doubt over his future, admittedly, given Arne Slot barely played him last season.
Now, though, it looks like Elliott is on his way out.
Football Transfers reports that Liverpool want a buyback clause for Elliott as talks with Tottenham Hotspur accelerate. Spurs are eager to sign the player after James Maddison was ruled out for the foreseeable future.
We feel a move to Tottenham would be fantastic for Elliott but at the same time, we'd be sad to see him go. There's clearly a fantastic player in there - one who can be absolutely magic at times.
But it's increasingly clear that Elliott will not fulfil his potential at Liverpool. The competition is simply too great in his best positions, especially after Wirtz joined.
