Liverpool are eyeing an insane African super talent, who could be better than Sadio Mane and Mo Salah in the future.

There's no denying that African football is evolving. More and more clubs are scouting in the region, there's more revenue being set-up to fund football academies, and the wealth of talent is increasing.

In the coming decades there may well be an African champion at the World Cup.

Liverpool will know first-hand the quality of the region. After all it was two African stars in Mane and Salah who led the Reds to so much success over the last few years.

Their legacy lives on. Liverpool are now growing in popularity on the continent and that can only benefit the Reds.

Liverpool continuing to sign African talent

Over the last 12 months or so, we've seen the Reds enter the African market as well. Last year, Sidy Barhama Ndiaye spent two weeks at the club from Senegal.

The 16-year-old is still expected to join Liverpool in January 2028 when he has celebrated his 18th birthday.

In January of this year, Liverpool signed Mor Talla Ndiaye, who has already debuted in pre-season with the first-team and who is recognised as one of the outstanding talents of the U21 team.

Liverpool also welcomed two trialists from The Gambia this summer. Musa Jatta and Sheriff Bah from BST Galaxy spent two weeks training with the U18s and U21s and impressed the club's academy scouts.

The Reds are also in talks to sign Diego Pelembe, who is the captain of Mozambique's U17 national team.

And there's another exciting player on their radar as well.

Meet Omar Badjie - the insane talent on Liverpool's radar

According to Gamfoot Transfers on Instagram, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Omar Badjie while he is playing in the U17 WAFU AFCON qualifying tournament.

Badjie has a goal and an assist in his first two matches for The Gambia, and he is an insane talent.

The way he combines his incredible technique with his speed and agility makes him impossible to stop. He has run rings around opponents.

Just take a look at this video of his actions. The way he runs, he looks like a better talent than Mane and Salah at the same age.

Badjie comes from the Gambino Stars Academy. They have a pretty strong track-record of late, winning tournaments at youth level and selling Bara Ndiaye to Bayern Munich on a permanent deal this summer.

Ndiaye has been a revelation, and Badjie looks set to follow. Liverpool should be doing everything to bring him to Anfield.
