Liverpool are prepared to sign one of the fastest players in the Premier League.

Speed is an area where the Reds have bolstered their ranks over the course of the summer. The addition of Victor Munoz and then the signing of Bradley Barcola has given Liverpool's attack a new dynamism.

But there's always a need for more speed.

Liverpool are increasingly part of a physical Premier League and Andoni Iraola's style of play is very much based on high intensity and pressing.

It requires players who are quick, and who are also capable of running behind opponents.

Which is why Liverpool will be in the market for more attackers in the coming transfer windows. Particularly on one side of the attack.

Liverpool's plan to replace Mo Salah

The Reds did have an ideal player lined up for that role. His name was Yan Diomande and Liverpool were prepared to go all in. But when Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid come calling, their voices become too cajoling to reject.

Diomande has ended-up in Madrid, and Liverpool pivoted to sign the best available winger on the market who was Bradley Barcola.

The Reds plans therefore became to replace Salah with Barcola, but only temporarily. Long-term Liverpool are still on the market to sign a right-winger, or at least someone who prefers to play there more often.

Well, not for long.

Liverpool lining up move for one of the fastest in the Premier League

The Reds are reportedly interested in Kevin Schade according to Sky Sports. Brentford are reportedly interested in renewing Schade's contract.

However, Liverpool are believed to be ready to make a move with Arsenal also interested in Schade, who is one of the fastest players in the Premier League and once clocked a top speed of 36.3km/h.

Schade is someone who can play across the front line, and he has shown to be a threat in the Premier League. He is capable of playing as a right-winger, which is where he played a lot at Mainz and for the German national team.

Jurgen Klopp used him as a right-winger on his debut as a coach of the national team.
