In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey claimed that Liverpool are keen on recruiting Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior. It has been stated that the Reds would have to rival Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to land the Brazilian wide player this off-season.

Vinicius Jr.’s Impressive Form In La Liga

Vinicius Jr. enjoyed another excellent campaign at the Madrid club recently as he was responsible for putting in a string of eye-catching performances for them in the final third. The 26-year-old banged in 22 goals and picked up 14 assists in 53 matches for Los Blancos last season on all fronts.

The Brazilian talent is currently among the most feared attackers in La Liga. Hence, it is no surprise that the Reds are in the running to sign him later this year.

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will expire at the end of next season, which could open the door for Liverpool to sign him on the cheap this summer.

Vinicius Jr. has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the eye to create some decent openings for his teammates in the final third.

The Brazilian wing wizard can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Vinicius Jr. is primarily a left-winger but can also function as a centre-forward if asked to do so.
