Liverpool say Mo Salah is expected to play again for the club before his summer exit despite suffering an injury in the win over Crystal Palace.

Salah was forced off during the second half of the Premier League victory, causing concern that he may have played his last game for the club.

But Liverpool say the Egyptian’s muscle injury is only minor, and that they expect him to play again before his nine-year stay at Anfield comes to an end.

“The issue that caused his withdrawal has now been confirmed as a minor muscle injury,” Liverpool said.

“It is, however, anticipated Salah will return to action ahead of 2025-26’s conclusion and his departure from the Reds this summer.”
