Last month, SPORT reported that Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich have all shown interest in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, with Paris Saint-Germain also monitoring his situation closely.

While de Jong remains committed to staying at Barcelona, PSG have a track record of signing players from the Catalan club. With the summer of 2025 on the horizon, they could consider making a move for the Dutch international.

Fichajes reports that Liverpool are eyeing a move for de Jong next summer as he nears the final year of his contract with Barcelona. Moreover, the same outlet recently noted that Barcelona may be open to selling him for around €50 million.

The Dutchman joined Barcelona in 2019, making 220 total appearances, scoring 17 goals, and registering 21 assists. The former Ajax man has also won one LaLiga title, one Copa del Rey, and one Supercopa de España.
