Liverpool are pursuing a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola.
According to L’Equipe, the Reds have decided to submit an estimated €115 million offer for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Their offer is expected to be rejected by PSG who are holding out for a fee over €150m.
Barcola has made it clear he won’t sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, and he is leaning towards a move to Liverpool.
The France international has been an important player for PSG since joining them from Lyon in 2023.
He has made 152 appearances across all competitions, scoring 39 goals and providing 37 assists.
Barcola played an instrumental role in helping PSG win the Champions League and Ligue 1 titles last season.
However, he was left unhappy by manager Luis Enrique’s decision to drop him from the club’s biggest matches, including the Champions League final.
Barcola represented France at the summer’s World Cup, scoring three goals in eight appearances.
He is highly rated for his blistering pace, ball-carrying ability and dribbling skills.
Barcola mainly operates on the left wing, but he can also play on the right or through the middle.
PSG have long maintained that the young forward is not for sale. But the player’s decision not to extend his stay in Paris has prompted them to change their stance.
