The biggest concern for Liverpool following Thursday’s draw was the injury sustain by Bradley, which looked to be a nasty one.
Joe Gomez recently returned to fitness and saw out the last couple of minutes of the match against Arsenal.
With the squad already injury ridden, to lose one of the team’s best performing players is the last things Slot would have wanted.
The controversy surround Garbiel Martinelli, who attempted to push an injured Bradley off of the pitch, made the situation even harder to swallow for Liverpool supporters.
Joe Gomez is the obvious choice for Slot. When he has been relied upon as a full-back this season he has looked solid defensively and represents a fairly low risk option if he can stay fit.
The Reds’ FA Cup tie against Barnsley could also give Slot a chance to experiment with Calvin Ramsey, who has so far had limit opportunity to prove himself to the Dutchman.
Jeremie Frimpong has been performing well in recent weeks, and impressed again against Arsenal, but these displays have come in a more advanced position.
Slot could play Frimpong deeper, but he may want to avoid changing a system that has so far looked fairly effective.
