Trent Alexander-Arnold is fast-becoming the hottest topic in transfer market right now, with a host of European clubs keen on acquiring his services next summer.

Alexander-Arnold’s current contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the season, with Real Madrid among the clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer.

Recent reports have indicated that the Englishman is closer to joining Real Madrid than extending his contract at Liverpool, even as the Reds are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to convince the player to renew his deal at Anfield.

Alexander-Arnold has an offer from Real Madrid

In a recent update, The Times has now confirmed that Alexander-Arnold already has an offer from Real Madrid.

This is quite significant considering the fact that the Englishman is one of Real Madrid’s few transfer targets for the summer of 2025.

While it remains to be seen whether or not Alexander-Arnold will accept Real Madrid’s proposal, it will be interesting to see if Los Blancos are offering the right-back a hefty salary package.

One thing is for sure – Real Madrid will have to spend a fortune through bonuses and salary, if they are to sign the Liverpool superstar next summer.

That said, Alexander-Arnold’s potential arrival could solve Real Madrid’s right-back problems, where Dani Carvajal has struggled with injuries while Lucas Vazquez’s performances have not been optimal.

The Liverpool star, to that end, could become an ideal long-term replacement for Carvajal, although it will be interesting to see if the Englishman will instantly replace the Spaniard, leaving the veteran to play a second-fiddle role in the team.
