Liverpool: major blow as Wirtz ruled out for a long spell!

Liverpool: the full extent of Wirtz's long-term absence revealed!
Florian Wirtz has plunged Liverpool into fresh concern. Already under fire for his inconsistent performances since arriving in the Premier League, the German international has now suffered a serious setback in training, confirming a sporting situation that is turning into a nightmare. Sidelined since the international break on November 17, the attacking midfielder is dealing with a muscle injury far more severe than initially reported.
Before the clash with Nottingham Forest, Arne Slot tried to reassure fans, stating that Wirtz would be "out for a short period." However, further tests have completely overturned that diagnosis. Significant leg damage has been detected, forcing the club to rethink its plans. According to several internal sources, the player is expected to remain out of action until the March international break, which means an absence of three to four months.
This sudden setback comes at the worst possible time for Liverpool, who had hoped to get Wirtz back on track before the second half of the season. The club will now have to cope without him for an extended period, just as his full integration into Slot's system is looking more uncertain than ever.
