Liverpool reportedly want £70 million for Tottenham Hotspur target Cody Gakpo and will allow him to leave once they sign a replacement.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have presented the Dutch attacker with personal terms, and he is happy with what he has been offered.
Spurs have been trying to get Gakpo all summer, and a deal appears to be close.
The Netherlands international wants to leave the Anfield club for the Lilywhites and Liverpool are looking at potential replacements.
The Reds have signed Spanish attacker Victor Munoz and are eyeing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola.
The Frenchman is open to the move and talks are ongoing between both clubs as they look to reach an agreement.
Spurs have not opened talks with Liverpool, but they could be open to paying £70m for Gakpo as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to bolster his attack.
The North London club also want Manchester City’s Savinho, and adding the Brazilian and Dutchman to their squad could be huge for Tottenham.
Man City striker Omar Marmoush is also a target for Spurs, and De Zerbi will hope to get deals over the line for his top attacking targets.
The Italian has strengthened his defence and midfield so far this summer, and bolstering his attacking ranks is next.
Gakpo will fancy his chances of hitting the ground running at Tottenham, and a move could be wrapped up in the coming days.
